Africa invents tomorrow’s educational e-solutions
Faced with the many educational challenges in Africa, a dynamic entrepreneurial movement is emerging offering innovative solutions. In the coming years, digital technology will enable millions of young Africans to pursue higher education using very little bandwidth and equipment.
Through its FOUNDATION FOR EDUCATION AND ENVIRONMENT, BANK OF AFRICA promotes education in the rural world, particularly through the Medersat.com program. To date, BANK OF AFRICA's education intitiatives in Morocco have built and equipped 309 school and preschool complexes, trained more than 770 teachers and support the schooling of more than 29,200 students. The Foundation is also active in Sub-Saharan Africa, where it has built and equipped 6 school complexes in Congo Brazzaville, Mali, Rwanda, Djibouti and in Senegal.
